In term 4 week 1 room 9 and 10 received a parcel from the office we didn't know what was in it but when we opened it we found letters from children from all over the world the kids were just like us but they lived in different country's . We all got a letter from a kid somewhere  in the world and we had to read the letter and  answer questions like what did the persons house look like. Our next job was to create a DLO about the country like how to say hi and goodbye and many more facts about the country.

I learnt how to add a web page to my DLO all you had to do was search something and paste it and and click the box. I also learnt how to insert a audio into my slides incase people don't want to read and i learnt the canberra is the capital of  Australia.

I found it easy to add audio to my DLO and i found recording my audio and adding the audio to my slides.I found being able to put web pages onto my slides instead of using speech.Being able to  help my friends do the DLO well we are siting far away from each other

I found it hard to use the audio because i didn't know how to use the app but then i ended up finding out how to.I also found adding web pages very very hard and difficult.

WEDNESDAY MATHS

This is my wednesday math during lockdown we had to do a maths grid,we had to create a maths problem for someone in our bubble,and we had to do a prototec and create a picture of a choice out of mathematical shapes.

Fake or real media 👁👄👁

we were learning how to create a fake media related to something that has been learning how to create a fake media related to something that has been in the newspaper so and forth.I'm also had dinner time with the background this is the website https://www.remove.bg/.

I enjoyed writing a story about the elections but  instead of humans it was giraffes. I also enjoyed using giraffes as the body instead of using a human body.being able to work beside my friend's so they cold help me was useful.

I found being able to find the right body  for Donald Trump and  Joe Biden very very difficult because they were pretty good but it is but I just couldn't animated or real

• On term 4 week 6 we had to create a explanation writing piece and turn it into a picture on a slide which means you turn your writing into picture. You had a choice between doing it on google slides (google slides link and google drawings google drawing are what you can use. The reason why i used slides is because you can use curve and polyline are some tools you can use.

• I was learning how to create an explanation writing and turn the writing into pictures and i had  to add lots and lots and lots of detail well i tried to add lots. We were also learning how to use polyline and curve .I really enjoyed using different shapes to help me create my venn diagram.

ZORB BALL SOCCER⚽

we were learning how to write a narrative or a made up story,during the lesson we were able to watch a video clip of some adults play zorb ball soccer Mr J-L my teacher emailed us the video so we could watch it whenever we wanted to watch it and it was very helpful.

I enjoyed writing a made up story and having the choies of doing it in our writing book or on google docs on a chromebook and I choose to do it on a chromebook. Another thing i enjoyed the most was  publishing it and putting  it on the wall with the rest of my writing.

I found it hard to make sure all my words and sentences made sense and people actually understood what i was writing. It was deffinally hard to keep up with the pace of the learning but I made It work in the end

Hello my name is  Harmonee Joe Ataahua Arohanui Shel Donz  Mckee

and I’m born on the first of January. My nickname is Nee, well that is what my sister calls me. I was also born in Gisborne, New Zealand.

If I had three wishes the first wish would be a Ferrari that a child my age can drive. The second wish would be able to go to Legoland for my birthday. And last but not least I would love to have a ps5.

If I was invisible the first thing I would do is steal a toyota truck that I can drive myself so my parents don't touch no offence mum and dad hehehehe. When I grow up I would like to be a zoologist because  I love love animals

Here is something that I Really really love about school. I really love maths because I love solving problems and the thing I like the least of all is having to sit on the ground for so long during assembly. The one thing I want to learn is how to speak spanish . My goal this year is to become better at reading and writing.

These are some of my favorite things are the colour pink, the number 70 , The book whatever after, The season spring, The movie Venom,The music band AJR,The sport hockey ,The subject maths,The Tv show news, The game borderlands ,The ice- cream flavour fudge.

MATHS for Monday ✍️💻🔒👇

 Me and my class we assigned to show our maths skills on the slides,we had to do a math prototec link (prototec link),a maths grid,two maths problems and we had to make a picture of our choice with math shapes.

HAVE A HEART Comic strips

we were learning how to make a comic strip,so we had to describe what REACH is then we were allowed to take photos of our friends to put in the comic.we also had a long time to create the comic but it was a little bit difficult.

It was very very hard to finish the comic within two days because yet again we started in the afternoon and there was only 10 minutes left. another thing that I found really hard was getting good quality photos of my friends because the lighting. 

I enjoyed having the ability to use my friends in the photos instead of having to use google images of random people because those people might not want to be on my blog  you will never know what the want.

Next time I will spend more of my free time doing the comic strip and not having free time if that made any sense. Another thing I will do next time is do less talking and more writing , I shall do everything that i've written.

 we were learning about respect and what it means,Mr j-l told us that we had to write what respect means to us  which took about five minutes to do then we had to add about ten pics or more and he also said that we could use as much slides as we wanted to.

I enjoyed having a challenge brought to me it was very very hard but fun at the same time I loved this challenge so much so i cant wait for another one also another thing that I really enjoyed was geting to have a choice of what we could use.

I found it challenging doing this within 2-3 days but still that might be a long time but we started to do in the afternoon and I hade patrols and I had to leave at 2:45 to get ready that's why I found this really really challenging.

next time I will not get distracted and I will focus on my learning and not be chating I will not talk to my friends as much in fact I will move away once I start to lose focus on my learning.

I believe that kids should not be homeschooled because you can become lazy and don't do the Check in hehe definitely didn't do that,oh my gosh I need to learn  to do that stuff sorry about that just getting carried away like usual. I believe kids should not be homeschooled because One of the reasons why homeschooling is bad is the fact that parents may lose patience when they are trying to educate their children. Some parents may be too overbearing or impatient, which may cause the child to react in a negative manner.

In the mid to late 20th century, more people began questioning the efficiency and sustainability of school learning, which again led to an increase in the number of homeschoolers, especially in the Americas and some European countries. 

Thirdly, homeschooling is a relatively widespread form of education and a legal alternative to public and private schools in many countries, which many people believe is due to the rise of the Internet, which enables people to obtain information very quickly. There are also nations in which homeschooling is regulated or illegal, as recorded in the article Homeschooling international status and statistics. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many students from all over the world had to study from home due to the danger posed by the virus.
